ADHD Assessment
Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects attention, impulse control, and activity levels. It can present as difficulties with focus, organisation, following through on tasks, managing impulses, or sitting still. ADHD looks different for each person, and in children it can impact learning, behaviour, relationships, and emotional regulation across home and school environments.

Cognitive/IQ Assessment
A cognitive or IQ assessment provides a comprehensive understanding of an individual’s thinking and learning profile across the lifespan. It explores areas such as reasoning, problem-solving, memory, attention, and processing speed. These assessments can help identify learning difficulties, intellectual strengths, giftedness, or provide clarity around academic challenges. They are often useful for informing school support, NDIS applications, educational planning, or gaining a deeper understanding of how someone learns best.

Educational Assessment
(WISC-V & WIAT-III)
An educational assessment provides a comprehensive understanding of a child’s learning profile by assessing both cognitive abilities and academic skills. Using gold-standard tools such as the WISC-V (cognitive assessment) and WIAT-III (academic achievement assessment), this process helps identify learning difficulties or Specific Learning Disorders (e.g., difficulties in reading, writing, or mathematics). It is particularly useful for understanding why a child may be struggling at school and for guiding targeted support and interventions.

Adaptive Behaviour Assessment
Adaptive assessments are structured evaluations used to understand how an individual is functioning in everyday life across communication, socialisation, and daily living skills. One of the most widely used gold-standard tools in this area is the Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales. In a Vineland assessment, information is gathered through a standardised questionnaire completed by a caregiver, teacher, or the individual themselves, providing a clear picture of real-world adaptive functioning rather than performance in a test setting.
