WorkCover Psychology Support
Looking for a Psychologist Under WorkCover?
If you have experienced a psychological injury at work and your WorkCover claim has been approved for psychological treatment, you may be eligible to access psychology sessions funded through WorkCover.
Navigating the WorkCover process can feel stressful, confusing, and overwhelming — particularly when you are already trying to recover from anxiety, burnout, workplace stress, trauma, bullying, or other work-related mental health concerns. Managing appointments, paperwork, communication with employers, and return-to-work expectations can often feel like another burden during an already difficult time.
At Ally Psychology, Natalie aims to provide a supportive space where you can focus on your recovery while feeling understood throughout the WorkCover journey.
How I can help?
Before starting private practice, I worked in occupational rehabilitation, supporting injured workers with psychological or secondary psychological injuries.
This experience has given me a strong understanding of the WorkCover system, including the challenges that can arise throughout the recovery and return-to-work process. I understand the importance of balancing recovery with workplace expectations and helping individuals return to work in a way that is safe, sustainable, and aligned with their wellbeing.
I have experience supporting clients with:
Workplace stress and burnout
Bullying and harassment in the workplace
Anxiety related to work or returning to work
Depression following workplace difficulties
Adjustment difficulties following injury or workplace changes
Trauma and psychologically unsafe workplace experiences
Building confidence and coping skills during recovery
Navigating return-to-work planning and workplace conversations
A Collaborative Approach
Every person's situation is different. Some clients may be preparing to return to work, while others may still be processing what has happened and focusing on their recovery.
My approach is collaborative and tailored to your individual circumstances. Together, we can work on:
Understanding the impact of your workplace experiences
Managing symptoms of anxiety, stress, burnout, or trauma
Building emotional regulation and coping strategies
Rebuilding confidence and self-esteem
Developing healthy boundaries in the workplace
Preparing for a safe and sustainable return to work when appropriate
The goal is not simply returning to work as quickly as possible, but supporting your overall wellbeing and helping you move forward in a way that feels manageable and sustainable. Your health is the number 1 priority.
